B&H CALL Care & Support Services provides a safe and friendly home environment for children and young people open to Social Services including unaccompanied minors. We provide support for young care leavers to develop living skills that assist in their transition to independence. We have experienced staff supporting young people with complex needs.
B&H CALL Care & Support Services operates by the standards of the Social Services and Wellbeing Act 2014 and the 4Cs 360 outcomes. Our firm is managed by professionals with significant experience in working with children and young people. It is our utmost goal to promote the following to children and young people:
Provision of support for young people by promoting a positive and social interactive environment where their creativity, interests, and excitement are stimulated allowing them to discover their skills to help them in long term career development and life fulfilment.
Provision of a safe and friendly home environment for our young people staffed by highly trained professionals. Some of our homes provide staffing 24 hrs a day. Young people are also assisted with money management and provided support in areas such as budgeting, CV preparation, and career guidance which enables them to have a better future and quality of life.
Promotion of good health and wellbeing to our young people by ensuring registration with GP, Dentist, and Opticians. As required, we work closely with the placing Local Authority and the young person to ensure health appointments are attended. As needed, assistance to access any therapeutic support is also provided to young people. This way, young people are consistently guided allowing them to understand their behaviour and actions and making it easier for them to make good and sound choices.
Provision of a good learning or informative environment which allows them to develop their skills sets, improve self-worth, and enhance knowledge. We believe in education’s value as it serves as a vehicle for social mobility.
Awareness of rights for young people is ensured. One of our aims is to let them know they are being listened to, valued through their involvement in decision-making for their education and training, and allowed to grow and develop their skills as they make a positive contribution within the community or society.
Provision of young people’s own private bedroom or home where they feel safe allowing them time and space to be on their own. This is beneficial for them to get some peace and quiet especially for those who read and study.
We support contact with birth family where it appropriate and part of a young person’s pathway plan. Family contact is encouraged but with absolute care to make sure a positive and safe approach is always applied. We also support our young people to forge positive friendships in the community.
We believe that to contribute to society effectively, an individual must focus on personal growth and development. With that, we aim to provide an environment which allows young people to achieve this goal through proper implementation of pathway plans.
We provide a safe and welcoming family home environment where our young people can feel comfortable and a sense of belonging. Each young person is supplied with their own room and have access to communal facilities such as kitchen, living room and bathroom.
We are interested in recruiting Support workers & Senior Support Workers to support our young people.
